Today was the Bennett Volunteer Fire Department's annual flea market. We got there bright and early before all the "treasures" were gone.  Lots of people were there and lots of people donated tons of stuff for the benefit.

Here's how it works for the items not priced, which was most of the outside stuff.  You gather up the items you want, find one of the volunteer firemen an make an offer.  Most reasonable offers are quickly accepted.  They like to kid around saying their starting price is $20, but usually accept your offer.  This is what we bought today for a grand total of $16.

I got the buy of the day for $1.  It's a handmade stained glass candle holder.  Jim always buys weird stuff like that aluminum blade. But all the money goes for a good cause so in the end, it's all good.  Speaking of good...those donuts are he best!  Taste just like the fried cakes my mom used to make.

This isn't a very good picture of the candle holder, but you get the idea what it looks like with a light inside.
