Under the cover of darkness, Jenny's assailant returned to the scene of the crime! Just as we suspected, although a little smaller than I would've guessed. It's probably a yearling separated from Mama Bear.
FYI...the reason it's called Jenny/Kenny is that it can be either a doe or a buck. Later in the year, well transform Jenny into Kenny by adding some antlers to it's head.

yikes! a bit close for comfort, but at least you caught him on cam!
Ah Hah! A bear eh? I best the bear was surprised to see Jenny all put back together. Those cams are great! Have a good weekend. I think the heat is moving up your way.
I got a chuckle out of these pics. It would appear the bear is doing a bit of sniffing.
See how delicately I put that? :-)
Just think of his frustration when he found it wasn't edible, lol. Silly ole bear.
I bet that bear was thinking how lucky he was that that deer was just standing there waiting to be eaten lol.
I guess I'll have to do some googeling, but I think black bears are mostly vegitarian. I'll bet he was just curious about Jenny...what do you think?
@Tammy...Bears are mostly vegetarians, but they do eat meat too. Unfortunately, fawns are favorites of theirs, but it's all part of the circle of life.
Very cute post. Gotta love the whole Jenny/Kenny thing too!
