She’s getting old and likes to rest…a lot. As I was going through some of the recent pictures of her, I couldn’t help notice she’s resting in almost all of them. But when you turn 11, in dog years, that’s old! While out for a walk one morning, she rested along the side of the road while I was taking pictures.
When we’re out driving around she lays with her head between our seats. Many times, she nudges me with her nose because she needs her neck/head/ears scratched.
She spends lots of time on the bed…but when it’s time for us to go to bed, 
then she moves onto the couch.
But she’s a good girl and I don’t know what we’d do without her.
Last summer/early fall she gave us quite a scare . Something mysterious happened and she became almost completely blind. We don’t know what caused it and neither did our Vet. But in February, something just as mysterious happened and she regained her sight. Whatever it was, we all hope it doesn’t happen again. Especially Molly!

awwww. What a sweet girl.They sure know how to tug at your heart strings. She reminds me of my Maggie, a yellow lab. We lost her just over a year ago at the age of 12. we put her ashes in the garden, and do you know what? Our new dog, Sophie, will go and lay in the garden in that exact spot.

Well whatever caused her blindness I along with you and her are glad it went away. She's a beautiful girl and I can see why you lover her so. Tell Molly I know how she feels...it's hell getting old!

I am so glad you posted this. I am very fond of Molly and have enjoyed the pics of her through the years and reading about her. We all grow old. Heaven knows I need to sit down and rest every little bit too.
I agree with Beth. We love Molly and seeing her these last years swimming and fetching and eating blueberries and just being Molly. I didn't know about the blindness. So glad her sight came back. Hugs.
Cindy, is the Vet able to take her blood pressure? I ask because, although it was a cat, a cat friend had that happen too. Blood pressure and some renal problems. Just a thought..sorry to intrude.
Bless her heart! This one really grabbed my eye because the yellow female Lab we rescued from the shelter in a neighboring county Thursday is named Molly. When we pulled her she was less than an hour away from being put down after a 3 week stay in the shelter. She's still a pup at around a year old but she's good company for Buddy, the Fox Red Lab we rescued from our county shelter in December after our first Lab, Sam was poisoned by some low life.
Wonderful pictures of a great lady. I sure hope nothing like that happens to her again. She is such a sweet girl. We all love her.
