Molly checking out a dead garter snake, a beautiful summer day and the latest bird nesting near the cabin. This one is a Great Crested Flycatcher and I can see the pole from the living room.
Fawn tracks followed by wolf tracks, getting the windshield crack fixed, grocery shopping and day four of the phoebe's nest building effort. A nice day in the Northland. Note: We saw the fawn running down the road but our voices scared off the wolf.
The first bear to get its picture taken by the trail cam, the little phoebe is determined to build a nest over the window, fawn tracks, a butterfly that posed for me and scattered showers in the Northland
Full rain barrel, turtle of the day that didn't want me to take its picture, a trip to the transfer station, a walk along a shady road and butterflies on a big pile of poo! They really go for that stuff.
Pretty dogs in a pretty truck, snapper laying eggs by the St Croix River, another butterfly and we got our laundry done today. Another beautiful day in the Northland.
Both of the small town Presbyterian churches near us had rummage sales today. I found a few treasures, but nothing to get excited about. It was another perfectly beautiful day in the Northland.
I'm the female version of "Jack of all trades, master of none". I make bottle cap pincushions as well as other items made with felt and sell them in my Etsy Store, Up The Creek. I make most of these pincushions while at our cabin in northwest Wisconsin. Our cabin is right "Up the Creek" from an active beaver pond. There's always something going on out there. Birds and other wildlife are abundant Up the Creek. I try to get good pictures of bird and wildlife and will post them, even if they're not award winners. My goal is to share what I see. Not to win any medals.
