We took another trip to the Amish store and this time stopped at one of the bakeries. Big mistake! They sell the most sinful donuts ever! Hands down, the best chocolate donut I've ever eaten. Cute little Amish girl outside waiting for mom to get the buggy rigged up.

I finally caved in and bought some Christmas cookies and they're really good! It's still hard to do a decent walk. Neighborhood sidewalks are snow covered and icy. The shoveler on this sidewalk must've got pooped out and quit!

Did some more shopping today and even the Amish were in Madison shopping. Light snow was falling when I went into the store and 15 minutes later, my car was covered with it!

We decided to go out into the country for a walk today, then stopped at an antique store. wanted to enjoy the bare ground before the big snow storm gets here. Fingers crossed that it misses us, but that sounds very unlikely.

Went out in the country for a walk today, then decided to go to the Amish store. Always a fun stop. I've never seen or heard of root beer jelly and don't remember the last time I saw Cloverine Salve. We bought some dried beans, pickled beets, dried pineapple and Jim got some root beer barrels.

Yesterday we spent our first full day at home doing things that we've put off for months. Leaves raked, house cleaned, laundry done, shopping and I got my eyes checked. So today, we goofed off! Went out into the country for a walk, had lunch at a favorite Mexican restaurant and stopped at an antique store. I got the cute little vintage elf that I've wanted since last year.

I didn't take any pictures today. I was too busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. Today was the last day for our outdoor shower tent. After tomorrow, the temperatures will be way too cold to use it. Time to go home I guess. Probably on Tuesday.

This morning while Jim was hunting, Molly and I took a walk at the Gordon dam. The sky kept changing, there was a small shower and a very faint rainbow appeared. Top picture is of a hunting camp set up in the campground. These are guys are ruffing it!

After being home for a couple days, Molly and I returned to the Northland. As you can see there wasn't much traffic on opening day of deer hunting. I stopped at Walmart in Rice Lake and scored a free Oreo shopping bag!

Trying out a new app for today's collage. It snowed almost all day, but didn't amount to much around here. Not sure about in Hayward where we went this morning. It was almost white-out conditions for awhile.

Another ugly day was brightened by seeing a bird I've never seen before. It's called a Varied Thrush and is commonly see along the west coast. This one must've been blown to the Midwest by some strong winds. Made a big pot of beef stew that was delicious!

And I thought yesterday was ugly! It was nothing like today. It was so bad we decided we had to go "uptown" for lunch and a few other stops. Went to the Shabby Shed and bought our Christmas tree! We both really liked this green and gold, glittery creation that lights up! Cost was only $8.00!

Today was a typical November day. Cold, cloudy and windy. I went into town for a few things, stopped at the Post Office, the Little Gift House and we went out for a Friday night fish fry.

Went into town today and stopped at three of the 4 stores. I didn't need anything at the auto parts store. LOL. The pictures in the lower right corner are of the same road, taken a month or so apart. Quite a difference eh?
